Detailed Steps of Turf Cleaning

Turf Inspection

Before conducting a cleaning, our team does a thorough inspection of the turf which includes locating areas with odors, targeting weeds and checking infill levels. During this process our technician will scan every angle for uneven surfaces and loose turf. By inspecting the turf before cleaning we can address any underlying issues, plan an appropriate cleaning approach and ensure the longevity and performance of the turf.

Magnet Sweep

This process includes removal of any metal objects that may have become trapped in between the fibers, such as nails and staples. Nails and staples are used to secure the turf but may become loose over time.

Weed Removal

Weeds are removed individually by hand avoiding harmful products. Weed removal not only helps with the overall appearance of the turf it assists in the aesthetics and longevity of keeping your turf in top notch condition. Weeds can become a burden causing drainage issues surface lumps and tares in the turf.

Edge Tucking

During this process our technician will scan the Turf for loose turf that may need tucking. Tucking  turf back into its original form helps prevent damage, penetration and pro longs the life span of the turf.

Surface Evening

During this process our tech will smooth out areas of the turf that may have become lumped up causing uneven surface. This is commonly caused by compacted infill, dirt, debris and tree roots/weeds. Smoothening these areas evenly will help with drainage, appearance and safety.

Power Brushing

Power brushing is an essential step in the process. It helps agitate the turf infill which helps loosen and remove pet hair, leaves, dust and other debris. This can help to prevent the accumulation of the dirt which can lead to unpleasant odors. Turf fibers overtime become matted or flattened due to foot traffic and heavy use. Power brushing helps revive the turfs fibers which enhances drainage resilience and appearance. The bristles help spread the infill evenly across the turf breaking up soiled infill helping with decompaction for better drainage. Power brushing enhances air flow which can help increase ventilation that aides in eliminating trapped odors caused by pet waste and improve air flow. This also aides in preventing the growth of mold and mildew beneath the turf.

Infill Application

Spreading new infill evenly throughout turf helps reduce heat creating a cooler and more comfortable surface.  Our infill technology is designed to absorb and eliminate microbial growth that causes unpleasant odors.  Infill fills the gaps between the fibers helping to maintain the turfs original resilience and reduce the  risk of matting or flattening.

Turf Flushing

Turf flushing helps remove loose dirt, leaves pollutants and debris that may have accumulated on or beneath the surface over time. Organic material or such as pet waist can cause an unpleasant odor. Flushing the turf helps to eliminate these odors by draining away residue that can cause mold or mildew. Flushing the turf with water helps reduce moisture levels and reduce microbial growth. Watering the turf regularly helps prevent discoloration.

Enzyme Cleaner

Spraying enzyme cleaner on turf fibers helps break down organic matter that leads to an unpleasant smell, neutralizes and eliminates lingering odors that are commonly caused by pet urine bacteria and other organic sources. Our enzyme cleaner helps penetrate deep into the turf fibers ensuring thorough cleaning. Our spray is biodegradable and safe for the environment, pets and your family.

Extra Strength Power Blooming

Our extra strength power broom targets flat matted areas that are caused by heavy foot traffic over time. This tool helps revive the turf fibers back to its original form aiding in ventilation, drainage and overall appearance.
